Our guides pride themselves on being coaches and teachers of the sport, and are full time fishing guides that spend their days off on the water. We believe East Tennessee has some of the best fishing in the country. With 16 game species available year round, we can always put you on the fish! Our guided fishing trips are tailored to the first time angler or seasoned pro alike. We provide everything you need to have a successful day on the water including all flies or tackle, top of the line rods, reels, boots, waders, and any other gear needed for the day. Every full day fishing trip comes with a quality stream side lunch and drinks. Half day fishing trips come with snacks and drinks.

Float Trips
Fishknoxville offers float trips out of rafts and drift boats for Trout, Smallmouth Bass, and Musky. Our tailwaters offer exceptional trout fishing for Rainbow and Brown Trout, with the opportunity at above average size Brook Trout.
Our Smallmouth Bass and Musky float trips are exhilarating with hard hitting, aggressive fish. Most of these trips are guided out of rafts with fun, thrilling white water. For the more adventurous group, we offer whitewater fishing trips with rivers that boast class III and IV rapids.

Striper & Musky
Fishknoxville is the only guide service in the East Tennessee area that specializes in targeting Striper and Musky on the fly. For conventional anglers, we offer live bait and artificial lure trips. Whether it is your first time fishing or you’re an avid Striper and Musky fisherman, our certified captains have a trip tailored to your specific goals and needs. We offer these trips on the Clinch River, French broad, Pigeon River and Holston River as well as Melton Hill Lake, Fort Loudon Lake, Tellico Lake, and Watts Bar Lake. Evening live bait Catfish and Striper trips are also very popular and great for larger groups and kids with constant action from Blue Catfish, Flathead Catfish, and Channel Catfish. Hybrid Bass and Striped Bass are also plentiful on these evening trips
Wade Trips
All of our wade trips include waders and boots. We offer wade trips in the gorgeous Smoky Mountains and on our local tailwaters and streams. The Smokies offer fly anglers fabulous dry fly fishing for wild Brown Trout, Brook Trout, and Rainbow Trout. The Smokies also offer abundant streams to explore from access right off of the road to remote water miles into the backcountry. Our tailwater wade trips boast above average size trout.

Flats Boat Trips
Fishknoxville is the only guide service in the East Tennessee area offering saltwater style flats boat trips. These trips are perfect for the guest about to go to the salt and fish for Redfish, Bonefish, Tarpon, or any other saltwater species that hunt the flats; or for the angler looking for a unique fishing experience. Poling the flats for Carp on the fly is a guide favorite at fishknoxville. This is as close to the saltwater game as you can get in fresh water. Guide and angler work together sight fishing for these hard fighting, hard to trick warriors of the flats. Another unique experience is poling for Striper and Musky on the flats. Sight casting to a school of Striper hunting bait in less than a foot of water is an experience not soon forgotten. The finesse and art of sight casting to Musky on flats is sure to test any anglers wits and skills.
